Sweden using Thales's advanced communications infrastructure

Thales will supply IP-based tactical communications infrastructure to the swedish armed forces (SwAF) under contracts awarded by the swedish defense materiel administration.
This contract is part of KomNod SwAF program designed to implement IP-based communications,
Infrastructure terintergasi voice features and IP services in the platform of the vehicle.
Thales offers a range of IP-based communications infrastructure services, including
gateway radio telephone, alarm, routing, Ethernet, intercom and management services.
Services offered by the Thales-based next generation that has been tested in battle,
a fully ruggedised IP-based multiservice platform on vehicles with small physical footprint.
SOTASIP integrates the vehicle with the intercom, ethernet, LAN, IP router,
so that the VoIP phone and serial data links can be integrated on a single reliable system.
Integrated communication system that offers complete connectivity for the soldiers,
extend the chain of command and control troops to disembark.
