French Defense Ministry has ordered as many as 8 transport aircraft Casa CN - 235 with contract value amounting to 225 million euros and to delay the procurement of wide-bodied transport aircraft A400M.
This decision was considered to be taken by the French defense ministry after discussions in the ministerial committee given the tightening budget investment and efficiency in the procurement of defense equipment French military.
Eight new aircraft could be joined with 19 CN -235 existing and expected to enter operation in the French air force in 2013.
To be procured following the A400M itself after the year 2013
